How to play Binary Puzzle

Make Binary Puzzle your next activity in the game library. Fill a 6×6 grid with balanced zeroes and ones, no three equal neighbours, and no duplicate rows or columns. A careful first round

Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Fill a 6×6 grid with balanced zeroes and ones, no three equal neighbours, and no duplicate rows or columns. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Step by step

  1. Select an editable square.
  2. Enter 0 or 1; each line needs three of each.
  3. Avoid three consecutive equal values horizontally or vertically.
  4. Check puzzle validates balance, triples and unique lines.

Controls

Click or tap squares or graph edges. Number boards include a digit pad. Undo reverses the previous change; Check puzzle validates the solution. Read a button’s label before selecting it. A new-round button replaces the current round.

A useful example

A row beginning 0 0 needs 1 next. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

Balanced rows may still duplicate each other. Check the rule before repeating the action. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
